The craft

How it's made

Step 1

Send us a small stack

Three or four garments is plenty — t-shirts, onesies, button-downs, soft knits. Just the pieces with meaning. Katie handles the rest.

Step 2

Katie pieces and pairs it

Each garment becomes a panel, arranged for color and meaning, then sewn on her machine. She hand-picks a soft backing from her shelf to complement your fabrics — so every blanket looks like it was always meant to be exactly this one.

Step 3

Finished and shipped to your door

Your blanket is carefully packed and mailed to you — pieced, backed, and pressed, no two alike, yours to wrap around or hang on a wall.

What clothing works: Cotton shirts, t-shirts, button-downs, onesies, baby clothes, cotton team shirts, soft knits. We avoid heavy wool and slick dri-fit jerseys — modern athletic polyester doesn't piece cleanly — but the cotton team tees from youth sports are perfect.

Turnaround: 9 to 12 weeks from when your fabric arrives.
