Shipping Policy

How your keepsake travels

Every Stitched Memory order involves two shipments: the clothing you send us, and the finished keepsake we send back. You handle the inbound leg — mail your clothing with whatever carrier you like. Shipping the finished keepsake back to you is included, tracked, and on us. You'll get one confirmation email when you order and one email with tracking when your keepsake ships.

Where we ship

Stitched Memory ships to the contiguous United States only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally. If you have family outside the lower 48 and want to send a keepsake as a gift, ship it to a contiguous-US address and the recipient can forward from there.

Inbound shipping — you mail it

After you check out, mail the clothing you'd like Katie to use to our studio at 117 Emerald Cove Dr, Woodstock, GA 30189. Any carrier works — USPS, UPS, or FedEx — and a padded envelope or small box is perfect. Please get it in the mail within 30 days of ordering so your build keeps its place in line.

Local drop-off (optional)

If you're in the North Georgia area (Woodstock, Canton, Roswell, Marietta, Acworth, metro Atlanta) you can choose Local drop-off at checkout and hand your garments to Katie in person. We'll coordinate a time and place by email. Nothing ships for local drop-off orders — you hand the garments straight to Katie.

Processing time

Once your fabric is logged at our studio, your keepsake enters the production queue. Typical production is 9 to 12 weeks from fabric received to finished and shipped — every keepsake is made by one pair of hands, in the order fabric arrives. The moment your keepsake ships you'll get an email with tracking — and you can reply to any of our emails any time to ask Katie where things stand.

Outbound shipping — included

Finished keepsakes ship via USPS or UPS, typically 2 to 5 business days in transit. Shipping to your address is included on every order — no minimum, no membership, no surprises at checkout. Every outbound order ships with tracking; you'll get an email with the tracking number as soon as it ships.

Sending to additional addresses

Included shipping covers one delivery address per order. If you're ordering multiple keepsakes and want them sent to different addresses (a sibling, a grandparent, a friend), add each recipient's address on its cart item — a small per-address fee at checkout covers the extra box — or just email Katie and she'll work out the routing with you.

If a package is lost or damaged

If tracking stops updating for more than 5 business days or your keepsake arrives damaged, email Katie at katie@stitchedmemory.com with your order number (the SM#### from your order confirmation email). We'll file the carrier claim, and if the piece can't be recovered we'll remake it at no cost to you.

Changing your shipping address

If you need to update the ship-to address after checkout, email katie@stitchedmemory.com with your order number as early as possible. We can change the address any time before the outbound label is purchased. Once the package is in the carrier's hands, the address is locked.
