Shipping Policy

How your keepsake travels

Every Stitched Memory order involves two shipments: the clothing you send us, and the finished keepsake we send back. We cover inbound shipping for free, track both legs with USPS, and email you when anything moves.

Where we ship

Stitched Memory ships to the contiguous United States only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally. If you have family outside the lower 48 and want to send a keepsake as a gift, ship it to a contiguous-US address and the recipient can forward from there.

Inbound shipping — on us

After you check out, we email you a prepaid USPS Ground Advantage label within a few minutes. Tape it to any padded envelope or small box, drop it at a USPS location or in any blue collection box, and your garments are on their way to our studio at 54 Gateway Dr, Jasper, GA 30143. You pay nothing for inbound shipping. Tracking updates flow back to us automatically, and we email you the moment your fabric is received and logged.

Local drop-off (optional)

If you're in the North Georgia area (Jasper, Woodstock, Canton, Blue Ridge, metro Atlanta) you can choose Local drop-off at checkout and hand your garments to Katie or Brent in person. We'll coordinate a time and place by email. No shipping label is generated for local drop-off orders.

Processing time

Once your fabric is logged at our studio, your keepsake enters the production queue. Typical production is 2 to 3 weeks from fabric received to finished and shipped, though complex orders or busy seasons can push that to 4 weeks. Every status change — fabric received, in progress, quality check, shipped — triggers an email so you're never wondering where your piece is.

Outbound shipping

Finished keepsakes ship via USPS Ground Advantage, typically 2 to 5 business days in transit. Shipping is a flat rate calculated at checkout based on the size of your piece (bears ship in a small box, blankets in a medium box). We ship every outbound order with tracking; you'll get an email with the tracking number as soon as the label is printed.

If a package is lost or damaged

If USPS tracking stops updating for more than 5 business days or your keepsake arrives damaged, email Katie at katie@stitchedmemory.com with your order number (the SM#### from the recovery ribbon sewn inside, or your confirmation email). We'll file the carrier claim, and if the piece can't be recovered we'll remake it at no cost to you.

Changing your shipping address

If you need to update the ship-to address after checkout, email katie@stitchedmemory.com with your order number as early as possible. We can change the address any time before the outbound label is purchased. Once the package is in USPS's hands, the address is locked.
